Malibu
The hills of Malibu are known for their stunning views - but in December 2024 the Franklin Fire reminded us how precarious those views can be. Unfortunately, more devastating fires hit the same area less than a month later. The land is beginning to recover and the beauty has begun the long process of recovery.

Canyon View
I often take a 2-mile round trip hike up Canyon View Avenue and down to the corner at the base of the hill. It's a steep climb, a good cardio walk, and the view from the top is always the reward - whether it's clear or cloudy, early or late.
